Suzanne Pleshette

SuzanneSuzanne Pleshette was an American voice actress, actor, film and television star born on January 31, 1937, and died January 19, 2008. Pleshette started her stage career and appeared in films during the late 1950s. Then, she became an important actress in films such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (11). Then, she was in numerous television shows and was frequently an actor in guest roles. She played Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show, 1972-1978 which earned her many Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette, a daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan),[1] and Eugene Pleshette, was born January 31, 1937 in Brooklyn Heights. The parents of her were Jewish, the children of immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary.Her mother was an artist and dancer who performed on stage under the name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was a stage director of the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and also of the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
